Server storage terms

Last updated: 22 Oct

What this covers

These terms explain what is stored, where and how when you choose to keep your data on "Ezbere's servers". This option is available on every plan. It does not apply if you keep your data on your phone or in your own Google Drive.

What is stored

Your recordings, transcripts, notes, pasted text, the text of uploaded documents, the audio track of uploaded videos, and the summaries, facts, people, tasks, reminders and questions derived from them.

Pro includes 10 GB of storage for this data; the free trial includes 512 MB.

Where it is stored

Data is stored on OVHcloud servers in the European Union (Strasbourg, France). Nightly backups are kept on the same infrastructure for 14 days and then deleted.

Each user's data is isolated from other users at the database level.

Who can access it

Only you can see your content. Ezbere administrators see account details and counts (for example how many recordings you have), never the content of your recordings, notes or transcripts.

While it is processed, content is sent to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy. They do not use it to train their models.

How long it is kept

Recordings are deleted automatically after the period you choose in Settings (30 days by default). Other data is kept until you delete it, change where it is stored, or close your account.

You can move your data to your phone or your Google Drive at any time in Settings → Data storage.

Deletion and your rights

When you delete a recording or note it is permanently deleted from the server too; this cannot be undone. Backups that still contain it are deleted within 14 days.

Your rights under KVKK and the GDPR are described in the Privacy Policy. Contact: support@ezbere.com
