Terms of Use
Last updated: 22 Oct
Agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Ali Cevher (individual, Türkiye), who provides the Ezbere app and its services ("we"). By creating an account or using Ezbere you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you downloaded Ezbere from Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula) also applies. These terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for Ezbere or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not liable for any claims relating to it (including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims), which are our responsibility. If Ezbere fails to conform to an applicable warranty you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited parties.
The service
Ezbere records and imports meetings, voice memos, notes and files, turns them into summaries, facts, tasks and reminders, and answers your questions from your own sources. Processing uses third-party AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
Recording, reading files and asking questions need Ezbere Pro, which can be tried free for 7 days and includes a monthly amount of transcription, questions and storage; the current limits are shown in the app under Plan. Content you have already saved stays readable without a subscription. We may change features and limits; changes that reduce a paid plan apply from your next billing period.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old, give accurate information and keep your sign-in details safe. An account is for one person. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
Your content
Your recordings, notes, files and everything derived from them remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, process and show your content to you in order to provide the service, including sending it to the providers listed in the Privacy Policy. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
You are responsible for having the right to upload and process your content.
Recording other people
Before recording a conversation you must inform the participants and obtain any consent required where you are. Recording people without their knowledge can be unlawful and in some countries, including Türkiye, a crime. The app reminds you to inform participants before every meeting recording and keeps a record of that acknowledgement.
You must comply with data protection law when you process other people's personal data with Ezbere.
Acceptable use
You may not use Ezbere for unlawful purposes, to harass or harm others, to infringe anyone's rights, to process data you have no right to, or to attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service or circumvent its limits and security.
AI output
Transcripts, summaries, facts and answers are produced by AI and can be incomplete or wrong. Every fact is linked to its source; check the source before relying on it. Ezbere does not give medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
Subscriptions and payment
Ezbere Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, offered monthly or yearly. The price, period and any free trial are shown before you buy.
Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings (in Ezbere: Plan → Manage subscription). Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. For digital services that start immediately at your request, the statutory right of withdrawal ends once the service has started, to the extent the law allows.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Ezbere available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, change or stop parts of the service; if we discontinue the service we will tell you in advance and give you time to export your data.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Ezbere and delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy and data. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms; where possible we warn you first and give you the chance to export your data.
Liability
Ezbere is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage or for loss caused by relying on AI output without checking its source, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Ezbere in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence or your rights under mandatory consumer law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumers in Türkiye may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country.
Changes and contact
We announce changes to these terms in the app and on ezbere.com at least 14 days before they apply, unless the law requires otherwise. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the change applies.
